LGBT, or GLBT, is an initialism that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. In use since the 1990s, the term is an adaptation of the initialism LGB, which was used to replace the term gay in reference to the LGBT community beginning in the mid-to-late 1980s. Activists believed that the term gay community did not accurately represent all those to whom it referred.

My opinion in LGBT is we need to respect them and we need to accept them no matter what they are. if they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender dont mind them cause they are happy what they are, we should support them we should not let them down. for me it's nothing wrong with it, because they not hurting anyone as long they are happy and love each other, it's fine. and people can choose to live their own life's we should be open minded and accept them and we should not discriminate them because they have feeling's too, and we should mind our own life's.
